Greetings!
I returned yesterday from a 2 week trip in Israel. It was my first time to
Israel and we traveled extensively. I have a lot of problems with my feet,
osteoarthritis, several surgeries, etc. I was traveling with 4 different
pairs of shoes and sandals so that I could switch them frequently. On day 5
of the trip I purchased a pair of your Source sandals. I bought a mans pair
because they were wider. I wore the Source sandals the rest of the trip and
on the long flight home, never unpacking or using any of the other shoes I
brought with me!
What a fabulous find! I will definitely be buying more.
Thank you for such a great product and making the packing of shoes for my
next trip much easier.

Dear Source,
I have had your Gobi sandals for just over 3 years now, and wanted to extend the happiness that they brought to me. They have been the most comfortable, secure, yet airy sandal I have ever worn. Sandals get a lot of abuse from me, I wear my from early spring to late fall only when its snowing out or below 40 degrees Fahrenheit do I ever wear anything else. These sandals have been everywhere with me. I purchased them off Ben-Yehuda Street and have worn them ever since. I trekked all over Israel's, city's, deserts and in its waters, they were my first pick for comfort to wear over the city streets of Europe when I was touring Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Budapest, and Venice. They have been my trusty companions throughout the USA whether out on the city, or deep in mountain country on a hike. Everyone always comments on the cool looking stick men on the straps. Recently I just completed an amazing 14 mile, 4000 feet elevation gain, hike in the northwest and sadly have decided to retire my sandals due to the bottoms wearing thin. But they have gone way above my expectations of them. I have only recommended them with the highest degree of certification from me.
Thanks much,
Sincerely,
Joey DiStefano

Subject: Thank You all.
Hi everyone at Source/Vagabond
Just a quick email to say thanks.
For years I have been a loyal customer of TEVA sandals and Clarks sandals in the UK and have enjoyed their shoes very much, but in each case my feat got the better of their products and they began to smell.
It's not that I am a particularly smelly man, rather the materials they chose to create the foot beds of their sandals from soaked up sweat and body odour rather than shrugged it off.
Thanks to you and that fact that your footbeds are rubber, I can now keep my sandals clean and odourless without difficulty, my workmates happy as they don't have to smell my feat any longer and I can enjoy the sensation of sandals in my design studio. They're great sandals and I have already extolled their virtues to all my family and friends. In fact, they are so good I intend to have a black pair of military Gobi's (if civilians are aloud to buy them) before the end of summer.
Also, thanks for send them so promptly to me in the UK after buying them off your site. I got them in time for a trip to Cyprus to see a friend get married.
Once again, thanks, good luck with you business and keep up the good work.
Sincerely
Gareth Edwards
Director.

Dear Source,
Gobi sandals
I bought a pair of ladies Gobi sandals three months ago in Manchester,
England, UK. They are without doubt the best sandals I've ever bought, so
much so that I rarely have them off my feet. I am trying to find out the
best way to clean them. Can I put them in the washing machine like my
trainers? What do you recommend? I love them so much that I don't want to
spoil them.
Many thanks

Dear Sirs,
I am writing to you, to complement you on your great sandals. I work with a humanitarian aid agency in quite a demanding environment outdoors and traveling to many different countries. Since I have started this work I have tried a number of different types of sandals and none have lived up to the job; they have either quickly fallen to bits or been too uncomfortable. The only exception has been yours - they have lasted me 2 years and only now starting to show signs of ware and tare - they are comfortable and practical.
Thank you for your product (I have attached a photo of my sandals so that you see I am not joking).
Cheers

Hi,
I use the source sandals for years (and also my kids 4 and 6), which are great product with high quality; I always thought this is the only product you have…
I was in the last war in Lebanon and we walked days without additional water supply, the only thing we had is the source hydration we get, and water we carry in our bags.
I want to thanks you for your thinking and your great product; it was very helpful during our walk in special when we carry all our supply on our bags without way to use our legacy water-bottle ("Meymia")
Thanks
Alon

Here there! After two pairs of Source Sandals I think I can almost claim 'Source Veteran' status (knowing how long they last, that is). Your sandals last and last - and the comfort factor is huge. They seem to mould to your feet - it's like having a second pair of feet on. Definitely the best product on the market. Mine have tromped the world over and are still going strong. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Dear Source Team!
My name is David Dickson and I live in Brisbane, Australia.
I would like to tell you about my experience with Tevas and Source Sandals. My intention is purely that you might be able to use this information for the continuous improvement of your products. I feel that both products have their respective strengths and weaknesses, and if you could somehow combine the strengths you would be on an even bigger winner!
In 1995 My brother buys me a pair of "Source" Sandals. I don't like the look of them (they don't look adventure-like enough for me), so take them back and exchange them for a pair of Tevas (the cool looking ones). Within a few hours of wearing them around the house, I take the cool-looking Tevas back to the store and exchanging them back for the comfortable "Source" Sandals. The Teva strapping system was really digging into my feet in various places – they felt complicated and uncomfortable. I travel vigorously overseas for
three years and my Source sandals perform brilliantly, moulding to my feet and doing exactly the job I wanted (although they still look like a $15 pair of Reef sandal.(
In 1999 without even thinking about it, I purchase another pair of "Source" sandals –they perform the same, they are superb, still they look pretty ordinary. They last for four years before the sole cracks on both feet, rendering them useless. Major dissapointment this, as the whole sandal is good apart from the sole. Same thing happened on both pairs.
In 2004 I go to purchase another pair of "Source" sandals, but this time they are unavailable in my city in the 5 shops I visit. "Hmmm", I think, "I'll give the Tevas another go." So yesterday I bought another pair of Tevas (the "Terra Fi" model) and I have to say, same thing, I really don't like them much at all compared with the Source sandals.
Kind Regards,
David Dickson

I've been to a month trip in Thailand and used source sandals (stream model)
The sandal was put trough very hard terrain ,off-trail , jungles , water , large weight etc.
It proved to be very strong , comfortable and reliable
just wanted to say thanks for making my trip better and more enjoyable!

You must have been thinking of me when you made the Stream sandal. From 1997 they've helped me do better at the things that really matter: travelling on-and-off-trail through mud, rivers, forest, jagged alpine rocky terrain (and snow), fast or carrying big loads. Last year I did over 120 days of that stuff. I couldn't do it with any other footwear.
I just wish I saw the subtle print of the pyramid pattern more often, instead the deep tread of heavy crippling boots.
Best wishes
Frank

I use your Wraptank on climbing expeditions and are excellent, really good and durable.
point i do notice: the hose tends to freeze up above 4500m , i get around this by wrapping it in silver foil that you get at the end of marathons and tyre tubing
But its a general problem that quite a few people I,ve talked to have had.
cheers

Dear Source-Vagabond,
I would just like to let you know how impressed I have been with the process
of buying my first pair of sandals from you and the sandals themselves.
I was looking for a new pair of outdoor/active sandals and someone recommended
your brand. I found your website easily and after a good browse, I ordered
a pair of Classic sandals. 5 or 6 days later they were delivered to me and
I love wearing them. So much for two weeks delivery time!
The ordering and delivery process was as transparent and as forthcoming
as possible - I even knew when my sandals boarded their flight in Tel Aviv
- and the whole process was very swift. The sandals are great. I have just
walked to work in them and look forward to taking them further afield soon.
I will certainly be recommending you to others.
Kind regards from London.
Emily Little.

Hi there,
I would just like to say thank you for a wonderful product, I bought my first pair of source sandles nearly 7 years ago, they are the most comfortable shoe that i have ever put on my feet, i have used them for hiking, skydiving, riding, working and water sports (i hardly ever take them
off) but last year they started to look a little sad, so I started to look in every outdoor store I passed in England, Spain, USA and Australia, and just as I was about to settle for one of the other brands, my husband suggested I look on the internet, and there they were "My shoes" all bright and sparkling new! well I ordered them and they arrived today and i have them on my feet as I type this email, So once again thank you to all the people that help make these shoes! they really are the most comfortable shoe I have ever put on my feet!

As a true sandals person, who was one of the earliest customers of Teva, wears sandals about 350 days a year in Colorado, has tried on or worn most brands, backpacks, runs, and does other outdoors sports in sandals I have found that the Source Stream sandals have by far the most comfortable straps and footbed of any sandal I have worn. I cannot wear them without thinking about the great comfort, high functionality and simplicity of the X strap design. Great work!! I keep telling people how great they are.
However, I do not like the lack of cushioning, rebound, or the weight of the soles. In this regard I find the Teva Terra-Fi to be superior. I love the spring, strong rebound, and lightweight of the Tevas. I use the Tevas still for more active sports, and keep wishing that they had your straps and footbed contour. Also, as a pro photographer and computer professional I do world travel with cameras and a laptop in my backpack and have managed to keep things very light. Every ounce counts.
As it stands, I will probably continue to travel with the Terra-Fi, but REALLY want to take your sandals. You almost make the best product. Just add the Terra-fi sole and midsole to yours and you would have it.
Regards,
Jeff Cook
Editor's Note:
As of 1 January 2004 Source stream is lighter then Teva's Tera-Fi and has an improved spring rebound.
For Spring 2004 Source has introduced a new performance range of sandals that makes Jeff's wishes come true.
